Bab Rizq Jameel supports small projects owners and productive household who have been affected by Jeddah floods catastrophe
Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ), an affiliate of Abdul Latif Jameel Community Services Programs (ALJCSP), prepared a list of all beneficiaries who benefited from BRJ services through its small projects, productive household, taxi ownership and truck ownership programs, who have been affected by floods in the southern and eastern districts of Jeddah. Conditions of beneficiaries have been investigated individually to find the ideal way of supporting them, either through rescheduling their loans or through offering them new loans to start over their projects.
In addition, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transportation, BRJ will examine the conditions of those who are benefiting from taxi and truck ownership programs, to offer them replacement vehicles. BRJ officials announced that their doors are open for everyone who lost his job as a result of Jeddah floods. Beneficiaries may contact BRJ at 6603177 or through www.babrizqjameel.com. Female coordinators of the productive household program are currently preparing lists of beneficiaries who have been affected by the catastrophe to find ways to help them.
Abdulrahman Al Fihaid, ALJCSP Director in Makkah area stated that ALJCSP is coordinating with Jeddah Citizens Cooperation Committee, which is supervised by Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to participate in providing means of transportation to support relieve works and to provide shelters for those who lost their houses. Al Fihaid added that ALJCSP representative is attending the daily meetings specially held for this cause, and is continuing its support to the committee.
